These fantastic birdie backpacks are never mass-produced and each one is individually made in different colour combinations from 100% hand-woven cotton.  You can be fairly sure there won’t be any identical ones in the cloak room, avoiding confusion and distress during those first fragile weeks at nursery or school.  Your child will be in no doubt which bag is theirs and you will be able to wash it without the eco-friendly dyes running and fading, so it will look just as good next term.  It has an easy to use, robust zip fastener, with sturdy, comfy straps and a handy loop on top.  The bird lifts up like a flap and there are two pockets underneath.  The bird 'flap' is secured down with Velcro.  Picture one shows the actual bag and the size quoted is approximate.
