These distinctive backpacks are never mass-produced and each one is individually made in different colour combinations from 100% hand-woven cotton.  You can be fairly sure there won’t be any identical ones in the cloak room, avoiding confusion and distress during those first fragile weeks at nursery or school.  Your child will be in no doubt which bag is theirs and you will be able to wash it without the eco-friendly dyes running and fading, so it will look just as good next term.  This is a very popular bag because there is a little joey in a pouch on the front.  He is stuffed with kapok and is secured in his pouch with Velcro, so he can come out to play.  The kangaroo lifts up like a flap to reveal two little pockets on the outside.  The flap is secured down with Velcro.  There is a handy loop on the top, an easy to use, robust zip fastener and strong, comfy straps.  Picture one shows the actual bag and the size quoted is approximate.
