This elephant string puppet is a very well-loved toy.  Her floppy ears and trunk give her face a very cute expression, especially when she looks lovingly at her Mummy.  Each one is individually made from 100% hand woven cotton.  The head, body and big round feet are stuffed with kapok; the legs and neck are soft and unstuffed.  All fabric is hand dyed with eco-friendly, safe dyes in a spectacular variety of colour combinations and she is washable.  This elephant puppet has six bright red strings from 15 – 34 cm long, attached to a wooden "H" frame for handling.  This, added to the fact that she needs some manual dexterity to manoeuvre, makes her unsuitable for children under 36 months. (The cords represent a noose hazard).  It can, of course, be hung up as a mobile for smaller children, as long as it is out of reach until they are older.  Because these puppets are individually hand made you are unlikely to find another exactly the same.  Picture one shows the actual elibah.
